Yoga Classes in Hedge End, Botley, Durley and Wickham

Hi, I'm Stacey and I want to share the joy of a regular                         yoga practice with you!

I first attended a yoga class 6 weeks after having my second child, when I decided I needed to get out of the house for an hour a week and do some form of exercise. I found a yoga class within 5 minutes walk of home and thought it sounded worth a try - I have been going regularly ever since!

I soon discovered that as well as the obvious physical benefits of improved flexibility and better balance there was a wealth of other unexpected benefits such as improved sleep, better moods and a general sense of being happier after practising some yoga.

It's normal to feel overwhelmed when you have a never-ending list of things to do. You have an image in your mind of what you want, but aren't sure how to get there.

Yoga is not magic, but with practice you may rediscover who you are and what you are capable of.

I completed my 200 hour training in 2018 with the fabulous Laura Green Yoga and now offer a variety of drop-in classes, courses, monthly restorative yoga and yoga workshops.

I am also available to teach tailored private yoga sessions and corporate yoga classes in the local area.

Find YOUR space for yoga and join me on the mat to see for yourself the positive effect yoga can have on your life.

Thanks, and I look forward to meeting you soon!

What to expect

I like to bring variety into my drop in classes, so although there will be some familiar movements that we can develop over time, there will also be different sequences, techniques and themes to enable us to explore the vast tool-box of yoga further.

My classes have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and are suitable for all levels of experience.

Come and join the fun; move your body,  breathe and let the benefits of yoga begin!

What to expect

Beginners Course I

These courses are ideal for those new to yoga or who are coming back to it after a break and looking to gain some confidence before moving onto drop-in classes or Beginners II.

These classes cover  the core poses as we start to learn what our bodies are capable of and begin to form sequences to help us deal with stress, injuries and improve our overall well-being.

Beginners Course II

For those  who have a little experience of Yoga, Pilates or Body Balance, my Beginners II classes focus on longer sequences and integrating yoga into our daily lives. There is a whole class dedicated to stress & sleep issues in addition to introductions to Yin and Restorative yoga.

Monthly Restorative

These sessions are more of a deep-relaxation experience rather than a physical practice. We use a range of props to allow our bodies to relax  in fully supported postures and let the stresses of life melt away.  Lessons end with a Yoga Nidra style guided relaxation to complete the total chill-out.
